jewish@edu is a new section within the Detroit Jewish News written by Jewish college students from Metro Detroit for Jewish college students from Metro Detroit.
Stories focus on what students are doing on campus — inside and outside of class — and include some Jewish component as a way to nurture Jewish identity. The section is a way for Detroit's Jewish college students to stay in touch with each other and their hometown.
Support for the section comes from a grant from the Stephen H. Schulman Millennium Fund of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
